The first must be stopped, the second must be protected. And if you're trying to stop everyone from being offended, that's nice but that's never going to happen. You cannot insulate everyone from insults. And besides, people need to learn how to deal with hurt feelings, it's part of becoming an adult. It's part of your growth and development as a human being. I think the standard has to be "direct link to a crime", or not.
So someone on Twitter saying an election is a fraud is not going to directly cause a crime. But if you say we should ransack congress because the election was a fraud, that's directly leading to a crime.
If you're bringing back Nazism, and it takes hold, that's something that will lead directly to the death of millions of innocent people. So that's something you need to ban.
