Elden Ring Should not have an easy mode. And Neither should Dark Souls.
hen you play a game like halo, the first thing that happens when you click "start solo campaign" is you see this screen. The game asks you what difficulty you want to play on.
Easy, Normal, heroic, legendary.
This happens in so many games now that people have just become complacent to it, but think about it for a second. Before you've played a single second of gameplay, the game is asking you what difficulty you want. How are you supposed to know which difficulty should be best for you?
These difficulty settings are so inconsistent between games that they basically mean nothing to a brand new player. Souls-Like games do not run into this problem, and their target audience loves it...
