Most christians take it for granted that we should raise our hands in worship when we sing in church. We do it because we have seen others do it and it feels natural and right to raise our hands to God. However, when I've been to non-pentecostal churches, it's often considered taboo. It's not really spoken about but it's not something that they do. You can even get branded as a bit of a nut in some churches if you raise your hands during the singing. But is it biblical? Can a case be made from the scriptures for the practice of raising your hands during worship? I thin that the bible teaches Christians that it is something acceptable and even commanded at times during prayer and singing.
