1 - Thanksgiving is a COUNTERFEIT Holy Day - a counterfeit Shabbat!
2 - Thanksgiving is THE literal KICK OFF to the pagan winter festival of Christmas!
3 - The origin, roots and history of Thanksgiving is disgusting as it is founded on the Pilgrims murdering a tribe of Indians and the taking of their land!
4 - George Washington's proclamation regarding Thanksgiving was creating a counterfeit Day of Atonement. It's American propaganda!
5 - Thanksgiving did NOT originate in Sukkot no matter how much Messianics want to believe it does.
6 - The day of Thanksgiving is NOT commanded in the Bible! There is NO Scriptural basis for it! It is ironic that people who are dead-set against celebrating Purim and Hanukkah (which are commanded IN the Bible) embrace Thanksgiving wholeheartedly -- even though "Thanksgiving" is NOT in the Bible! Want to have a special day set aside for collective "thanks"? YHVH has already thought of that! Sukkot is for that!
7 - Your identity is revealed by the holy days you celebrate! YHVH already has true Holy Days set aside for HIS people, Israel. They are one big identifiers of WHO HIS people are! If you celebrate the pagan and man-made holy days (holidays) like Thanksgiving, then you are NOT HIS people!
8 - We are NOT to look at and adapt the ways of the pagans (Thanksgiving and other harvest festivals) and pretend we are doing it for Yah! Be about HIS WAYS FIRST! There are 90 + Holy Days a year to keep you busy!
