Sharing some thoughts. Honestly I wasn't sure whether to post this because I realize it's pretty negative and I do want this channel to stay a positive place. But these feelings have become too hard for me to ignore, and I decided to share them anyway. I know I'm just kinda venting and not really offering any solutions, and you may not even agree that there's any "issue" in the first place. But I think starting a discussion on what we CAN do to better support art would be beneficial.

I also wanna add that my motivation for talking about this is not just the impact on my own work - I consider myself very lucky to have the following and support that I do. Rather, it's years of seeing many extremely talented artists get discouraged and lose hope in the current industry, my feelings on the current situation as a whole and my worries about the future of art.
