The waltz-y time and "creepy mansion" feeling really makes this song feel fresh and very different from its EoSD version, despite being literally the same thing. I do really like the part that begins about 1:44 in, where the chorus of the original song finally gets to show up.

The soundtrack comes from 東方剛欲異聞 ～ 水没した沈愁地獄 (Touhou Gouyoku Ibun ~ Submerged Hell of Sunken Sorrow), the 17.5th Touhou game. Instead of a fighting game, the game is a single-player beat-'em-up based around fighting enemies while collecting water to perform hyper attacks.

I love this arrange of Egoistic Flowers... it does buck the trend of the final boss arranges being orchestral, but hey, Im not complaining with the extreme funk within.
