How do you slow down your Early Finishers?!
SAVE THIS POST…and try these tips!
❤️ “Find 3 for Me!” Is where students ask a friend to find three things they need to work on to be finished. Kids hear criticism better from their peers than adults!
❤️ Take an inspirational Gallery Stroll…this allows students to see what their friends are creating and may inspire them to go back into their work after a little debrief with you.
❤️ Wrote an Exit Slip…they seem to be the kid-kryptonite…while valuable, kids seem to prefer creating versus writing about creating (as an art teacher, I can’t blame em there).
❤️Volunteer to help a friend finish their work! This helps YOU not have a class full of artists in the midst of several different art projects.
Now please share what you do because this is a common concern for all us art teacherin’ types!
