One year and nearly two months later I have the redo AMV finished~
I have waited for this day for YEARS ♥ When I made the original, I was so happy with it. Because of that fond memory of pride that I hold dear, I wanted to see how far I've come with my animation (and perhaps even artistic) skills since then! The first thoughts regarding this remake came alive about 3-4 years ago? However, because life loved to toss me around I never had enough time to get started with it. Last year (2020, August) I sat down in hopes to make this remake at long last. Even though I didn't manage to finish it for the 7th anniversary of the original AMV, I still managed to put out a preview to give you all a little taste of what was about to come ^^
Even though this took "1 year and 2 months" OBVIOUSLY I didn't work on this all the said time, haha~ I had moments during that time when I didn't touch this project for weeks but I'm glad it is finished, none the less ♥

This AMV is about Thistle's and Fern's relationship that isn't very rosy at the romantic end even though they could be fit as mates. Thistle is trying to persuade Fern, attempting to tell her that despite her grief of her former mate (who passed away seasons prior) she should have strength in her to move on and open up her eyes to what's right in front of her.
Even though Thistle is desperate he would never imagine forcing Fern to begin a relationship with him, no matter how much it hurts him. He wants to give her time but at times, he is frustrated with her how she - despite the grief - refuses to admit that she has obvious feelings echoing back to his.

Thistle(pelt) and Fern(leaf) are part of my story, Path of Stars, that I picked back up in September 2020, and have begun to revamp into an original story! Originally (as the names probably suggest) Path of Stars was a Warriors OC (fan) comic of mine, telling the story of Fernleaf. I always loved the story dearly and it took my friend from Uni to tell me that hey, why don't I attempt making it into an original story? So... Ever since I have begun to brainstorm a new concept that would fit the story's needs~ The story is FAR from finished but... At least I have an excuse to draw these old, dear characters of mine again ♥
Also for the sake of clarification; when I came up with the name "Path of Stars", the Path of Stars in Dawn of the Clans series had not come out :'3 It's both a funny yet bittersweet coincidence and I still laugh at it time by time! But I will still keep the name "Path of Stars" of the story since I was the one who came up with it in 2011 (even 2010?) and the Warriors PoS came out in 2015 so... Yeah!
