Imagine learning about something you've never even seen with your own eyes. That's exactly what happened in a rural village in Aranthangi, Tamil Nadu!
The LMES Foundation recently conducted a groundbreaking one-day science activity for government school students in this community. For many of these bright young minds, the concepts of aeromodelling and flight were entirely new, as some have never had the chance to witness an actual airplane. Yet, their curiosity soared higher than any craft!
Through hands-on learning and engaging activities, our workshop made complex principles accessible. We guided them through the fundamentals of aeromodelling concepts, helping them understand lift, drag, thrust, and gravity – all without a single prior visual reference of a real flight. The dedication and quick grasp of these students were truly remarkable.
