Waldo takes the controls and flies over San Francisco, CA, flying out of Oakland, CA, (runway 28R). Leaving and heading west out along the new Bay Bridge built at a cost of $6.5 billion. Then on to views of downtown San Franciso, Crissy Field and then a 360 wide turn over the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge (built a cost of $35 million in 1937). From there we head north along the Marin Headlands, over Drakes Bay (think oyster farms), and then return with some turbulence off the coastal range (waldo does turbulence better when in forward cabin with a drink in his hand!).
Eastward we fly right over Alcatraz Island, a military post from 1850 - 1934 and then a Federal penitentiary from 1934 - 1963, now a major tour attraction in San Francisco Bay).
And finally a quick turn over the Oakland hills, final approach at the Oakland A's playing field and Waldo comes in for his first landing at Oakland, California.
Enjoy the view
