While the workbench frame is away getting powder coated, I started building the drawer boxes which I cut on the CNC routing table. To make them strong I used finger joints on all the sides. Once I had them done, I mounted them to the drawer slides in the cabinets. The workbench top I'm making out of 4x6 beams, which I glued together and surfaced flat. I called in a favor from Bourbon Moth to help me trim the backside of the benchtop around the structural beams of the barn and then fastened it down to the metal frame. Lastly, I gave the benchtop a couple coats of oil to finish it off.
