I review, breakdown and explain the Shogun Episode 8 Trailer. I react to the ending scene of the preview which is focussed on Toranaga meeting with Mariko and the plan to get her involved in Crimson Sky. I discuss what it means for the character, Mariko’s death and I compare it to the real history, the 1980’s series and also the novel. I also give my theories and predictions on the Battle of Sekigahara, Ishido and Lady Ochiba, the plan to go to Osaka castle and episode 8.
