I review, breakdown and explain Shogun episode 7 on FX. I discuss the story which is set in 1600 in Japan as John Blackthorne arrived there. I react to Nagakado’s death, and Saeki Nobutatsu arriving and declaring his alliance with Ishido, Toranaga surrendering which meant that he was going to be taken to Osaka, Toda Buntaro growing suspicious of Mariko and John Blackthorne walking off at the end. I compare the story to the real events with Ieyasu Tokugawa and William Adams. I also give my theories and predictions on episode 8.
