It's been 6 months since my last play and video recording of a Pump It Up gameplay. I actually was supposed to join a mini tournament back in December. Unfortunately, I was hit with a high fever on the day that I was supposed to do a practice run, and in order for me to recover, I had to forfeit my participation. I was fine with it, and I almost immediately recovered from my fever by nighttime, and I thought I could still go to the event as a spectator so that I wouldn't be hit with a "binat" (our term for getting hit by the same sickness days or hours after you just recovered from it, usually often associated with fever). Again, on the day of the tournament, I couldn't go, because my fever suddenly returned. I was a bit sad because of it, and due to my fever, I had to take a break from playing Pump It Up for the rest of December and January.
I actually was planning on returning in February, until an event that I can't fully describe in detail happened in the mall where I currently play Pump It Up, and it led me to temporarily stay away from the mall because of it. I made a community post about it back in February though, so you can just look up that post in my channel and read it there. As for the month of March (last month), I didn't get enough sleep most of the time due to the heat wave once again here in Southeast Asia, and worst part is that all three air conditioners in our house were (still are) busted, so me and my family had to endure the heat most of the time until at least afternoon, because for some reason in my city, it's always cloudy in the afternoon, shielding us from the heatwave.
It was only today (April 23, 2025 as of typing this) that I managed to find a suitable schedule to play Pump It Up once again, because I had at least 7 hours of sleep the night before, and I was in a good mood too because I also recently renewed my Civil Engineering license, which is one less baggage for me to think about. I chose this song because the last time I recorded and uploaded a video of this, the song didn't have a bga until several updates later (I also misnamed it as Tropicana in that video, but I'm too lazy to edit it so I'll leave it at that). The second and main reason as to why this track again is because it's Summer Season here in most of Southeast Asia. To anyone living in Southeast Asia, stay safe and always drink water to avoid getting heat stroke. Also, as for the title of the video, it's because of the track's bga, hence the thumbnail.

Additional notes: Due to the current world situation, most (if not all) arcades here in the Philippines are still closed, so me and my friends have been on hiatus from playing for almost over a year since then. However there is hope as there have been talks about lifting the restrictions on entertainment areas here so there is a possibility that we will return to playing this year.
