Easily my favorite storyline of the entire game.
Mabinogi, for those that don't know, is a South Korean-made fantasy life MMORPG by Nexon and DevCAT that is relatively inspired by Celtic mythology, hence its name. As it stands, Mabinogi is a unique game where, while there is a story, you can do just about whatever you want outside of it, such as dungeon diving, composing, cooking, playing music, the works. The music for the first handful of generations was composed by HanStone, but later the composing role was taken by Studio EIM, with Shadow of Arat being an example.
Speaking of, Generation 10, Goddess of Light, is part of Chapter 3 of Mabinogi's main story, spanning from Generations 9 through 12, focusing on an ongoing conflict between the gods as well as the discovery of alchemy and the trouble it brought. Generation 10 focuses on Neamhain, the titular Goddess of Light, and the dark plots involving her wrought about by the Fomorians. This Generation also has one of my favorite boss themes in the game, with another one being from the following plotline of Generation 11: Sword of the Gods. Maybe I'll attempt that next...
