This one is my 3rd Pokemon Let's Go shiny, and one I deliberately hunted. They tend to pop up randomly for people who are chaining other Pokemon, but this one I meant to go for Chansey. I have always enjoyed the green coloring. This took a long time across several days because I had to be careful or else they would run.
Pro tip: If you press B as they run quick enough, you can run before they do, keeping your chain alive.
I kept catching the regular Chansey, because after certain increments of total Pokemon specie caught, that Pokemon will be easier to catch. So it went from like Super Hard to Hard to Normal, and then with berries it makes it green and easy. Catching and playing is hard in this game cause I had to hold the camera AND aim one handed lol.
But hey, I got it. As of this upload, this is the last shiny I caught in Pokemon Let's Go. The way it works in that game just isn't my cup of tea. The randomness of how what species of shiny shows up really turns me off, because there's no way I could just let a shiny disappear. So if I had to catch one that is a different species than what I'm chaining, it'll break the chain and I'd have to start all over again. Higher the chain, the better the IVs, and you can force a nature too (albeit repeatedly which can get expensive the longer it takes to get the shiny to spawn,) but I'd rather just hatch or SOS. So I'm keeping my main game UltraSun.
Spoiler alert: I'm getting Pokemon Shield. I'll have to build a brand new team specific for that game though. We'll see how that works out.
