The following dashboard presents an analysis of the demand in the emergency unit of the base hospital in the city of Valdivia, located in the Los Ríos Region in Chile. Where the demand is considered in the period 2019 to 2022, which is subsequently disaggregated by age and cause, finally we propose a brief module for the covid-19 emergency demand. Among the results obtained, the dashboard shows that the urgent demand has not yet returned to pre-covid-19 pandemic levels. It is in In this context, we believe that this tool can be an input for the unit's decision-making processes.
For this we work with the information provided by the Department of Health Statistics and Information belonging to the Ministry of Health in Chile.
