I initially picked this up around 6 weeks ago, as I wanted to return to Cobwebs but I needed something to test my skill. I went into this with the impression that it would be easier than Cobwebs despite being higher on the list (spoiler: it was easier), and got really fast progress. I got 26-100 on days 2 and 4 of playing it, but it wouldn't be until day 13 where I would get my first ending attempt. Then Cobwebs got nuked down the list and I was forced to put shimmer on hold for Cobwebs, and I ended up beating Cobwebs in 2 days. After that, the new Pokemon game released, and then I became super inactive on GD until the past few days.
I came back to this and knocked it out in 3 days, and was MUCH more consistent than I was before. I went from having 1 ending attempt to having 17 total including the completion, with 6 of those being deaths to the last wave.
I had heard really bad things about this level from friends who beat it, so I went into it with pretty low expectations. I ended up really enjoying it, but I can totally understand where the complaints come from. Lots of inputs align you very poorly with some of the upcoming gameplay, which results in you having to make multiple slight adjustments to your icon when it really didn't seem like it needed to be that way. The last wave is also way too hard for its own good, and while I do think this level is NLW as it is, it would not even be close to list worthy if the last wave wasn't as hard as it is in my opinion. Overall I would recommend this as it is insanely consistent, but there are definitely things to watch out for.
