After 4 Atomos Ninja V’s failed, I found something better, the SHIMBOL MEMORY ONE. This monitor recorder is cheaper, runs quieter, is better built, has brighter screen, longer battery life and ZERO paid upgrades.
I have been using now for a solid year and thought it was time to publish my thoughts on the SHIMBOL MEMORY ONE. I have been using it with my blackmagic pocket cinema cameras, Canon Mirrorless cameras, older Blackmagic cinema cameras and the Ursa’s.
At half of the price of a Atomos Ninja V with a build quality twice as good, its worth every penny I spent buying it, even though it is NOT a better recorder than a ninja V or a BMD videos assist. If you have any questions hit me up in the comments….
