By staying fishing hut side of the trap as long as possible you are able to get extra kills per trap. Doing so means going upstairs is pretty much impossible without getting stuck half the time. So instead, you run to the doctors quarters swamp zone in time for a large portion of the spawn. If done properly you will only get a few zombies spawning fishing hut side of the trap which makes going back to hit the trap safer.
For the strategy, I would recommend a speed weapon for its 110% sprint duration and 110% movement speed. It helps getting to the doctors quarters swamp zone in time. As for doors, fishing hut must be closed, all other doors can be opened. Though, leaving com room and/or storage areas closed can reduce sph a little.
