for the plot of this au: Hermione is Hopper's daughter, but Hopper has kept her hidden since she was little because she possesses magical powers that are unknown to both of them. When she turns 11, she gets a letter from a school called Hogwarts. However, Hopper doesn't let her go, as he believes it will be too risky. As Hermione gets older, she grows tired of being stuck inside. When Hopper is at work, she sneaks out to meet a boy named Steve. One day, Hopper finds out, but he let's it slide for once because he loves her. Hermione sneaks out again, only to see Steve hanging out with other girls in the pool. As Hermione heads home, she is furious at Hopper for making her stay inside all these years. They get in a major argument, and Hermione uses to powers to throw things at Hopper. She then leaves. Hopper tries to get in contact with her, and apologizes. As Hermione is getting on the train for Hogwarts, the place she's always dreamed of going, she looks at her book, and it reminds her of memories with her dad.
I'm sorry this AU doesn't have a very happy ending! However, you can interpret it that she writes to him, and does eventually come home at the end of the school year :) I just couldn't find the clips to portray that! I hope you enjoy the edit! Lots of Love!
