Meet Ava, a brave young girl diagnosed with DDX3X, an extremely rare genetic condition that has presented many challenges and means she needs special needs support.

Thanks to funding from BBC Children in Need, Ava attends SNAPS (Special Needs and Parent Support) every week. Through specialist physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, and tailored support, Ava is building her strength, balance, and independence every day.
