Karenjeet Kaur Bains is the real-life Clark Kent. By day, sheβs a chartered accountant and by night she transforms into superwoman, deadlifting 175 kg in her home gym.
With all that superpower itβs unsurprising she has a few titles under her belt: Commonwealth powerlifting champion, Guinness World Record holder, five times England and five times British Champion and the first British Sikh woman to represent her country at both the European and World Championships.
But itβs not just Karenjeet collecting the trophies, her whole family are competitive athletes: an ex-bodybuilder, an athletics champion, two national level hurdlers and a pro wrestler. Karenjeetβs two year old niece is even showing potential to be an Olympian.
