Chelsie swore to make "Chuco" cool again: a reclaimed word used to describe the culture of El Paso, her hometown on the border between Texas and Mexico.
It wasn't until living overseas and in a big city that Chelsie realized how special her roots really were. She returned home as a champion of El Paso's unique identity on the Rio Grande and opened Chuco Relic, a shop and community hub supporting local artists.
