well this /could/ have been 1080p if vegas wasnt such a-
just a quick weekend edit because I felt like it. I tried to match the scenes with the original ones of the season 10 opening btw.
This wasnt as much work as the ripper street opening obviously but still more than I expected.
I didn't got lazy at the end btw I just didnt know what to do especially because I didn't have that many face pictures...

I played a bit around with the meaning of home, being taken quite literally at the beginning, which is why the film is only showing actual footage of their home. But then the focus get onto everything that happends at home, the fun you have with the person you love, only so you realize that this person is your actual home not a building. Those beautiful memories will still hurt you when you realize that this time is over now. The last time the film is shown, the footage isnt showing Baker Street anymore but the last memory Holmes has of his home. Unlike the others, a really painful memory, which is why he isnt looking at the film anymore (and the reason why the film burns out at the end).
And now guess whose last memory of their home is the very last second C:
(Happy May 4th aka the day Holmes faked his death and didnt return to Watson for 3 years).
I really wanted to do something for this day this year, something emotional because all my latest uploades were more or less happy or effecty, everything but sad. And we all know how much I love to break my heart (and yours).
So, in the end, the video isnt about Holmes death at the waterfall but about his death before that :^) get it
ALSO I NEVER HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS RENDERING SOMETHING. THE PAIN WAS UNREAL. I AM SO FUSTRATED AND CANNOT LOOK AT THIS VIDEO ANYMORE. There are parts I actually wanted to change a bit but I honestly cant. Im done.

Hello, this is your not-so-daily reminder to watch The Young Pope if you havent already.
I wont stop talking about the show until everyone, who owns a device you can watch TV shows with, has seen it. So better start now.
Seriously, though, I love Lenny so much? So fcking much? SO MUCH? If he doesnt finally get a hug in season 2, I will sue Paolo. Dont treat my precious, lost child like that, dude.
Give him the love he needs and deserves.
When I first heard the song, I knew I had to make a video with Lenny because it just suits him so much? It was basically written for him. Over a week or two I started putting together the scenes I want to use so that I ended up with an extremely raw cut, I uploaded unlisted on youtube and then posted it on my Tumblr - because I didnt feel like working on the video, anymore. And this is the place where all my unused videos end up.
However, even though it was unlisted, the video got over 300 views and like 10 thumps up in like 2 days (both something all the other unlisted videos didnt even reach after a month) so I felt motivated to finish it and here is the final product. S/O to the people watching those unlisted videos and even rating them.

Its my 28th birthday! Which usually would have been one of those random birthdays no one really cares about except that Ive considered 28 my lucky number ever since I met Jude on the 28th of October 2013 and the 28th of April 2017. Ive also met him this year on the 29th of March - Warner Bros really had to ruin the specific date thing for me - but since this was during my 28th year of life it still counts in my book. On top of that my number at the premiere was 146 and 1+4+6 happens to be 11 which is my only other lucky number as my birthday is 11/11 so weve come full circle [pepesilviameme.jpeg]
What Im trying to say is that my 28th birthday is actually important to me so I just had to make a video for it. Im Still Here is the song I could relate the most to since I was like 12 and (especially the line Im the one now cause Im still here) has only become even more meaningfull to me ever since I tried to off myself. Lenny on the other hand is the fictional character I relate the most to (and who happens to be played by the man whos the reason 28 is this important to me and why I didnt off myself) so combining the two to make a video was the only logical thing to do.
6 years ago today, episode 7 and 8 of The Young Pope aired for the very first time world wide as well which was one of the best birthday presents Ive ever got. I told you. Full circle.
