This August I started going to school for 3D animation. Thus far my projects haven't been super share-worthy but I thought this one was cute... the assignment was to use Maya to model and rig an existing toy (I chose an Ickis Funko Pop) and create a 10 second scene with it in the style of commercial bumpers (hence the end text). Everything in the video was modeled by me in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, and rendered with Redshift.
Audio:
Marker drawing SFX by Nakhas (freesound.org)
Growling SFX by newagesoup (freesound.org)
Volley Ball Bump by 14GPanskaValaChristoffer (freesound.org)
Buzzing Electric Lamp by InspectorJ (freesound.org)
Real Monsters SNES (Title Music) by Greg Turner
Characters: Ickis and the Gromble from Nickelodeon's Aaahh!!! Real Monsters
