NAAAA NA NA NA NA NA! So recently the excellent Cochu U hosted a Splatoon mega-medley featuring about 25 musicians and all of the songs from Off The Hook and Squid Sisters, sung by Cochu herself. I was lucky enough to be a part of this project, taking on the Nasty Majesty section! This is for you, 10-12 year-old me. Before all of the countless spin-offs, movies and sequels, there was a cute little mobile game that the lucky kids who had their own ipod touches would be able to bring to school at recess and play. This early indie gem basically pioneered the mobile market that we now all have grown to know and... love??? I GUESS?????
It feels weird to feel this nostalgic for a game that came out about 11 years ago now, but it was this nostalgia that was the driving force to make this remix happen. Ready your sling shots, its time for some Angry Birds!
