Now that we are nearing the day we will move here full time, we really want to get this roof on so we can keep things dry and have a major step forward in attaching the two cabins. In today's video we are strapping the trusses and installing the metal roof panels on the cabin extension.
Building by ourselves sometimes means that we have to do things differently than you could when building with a crew or in perfect conditions. When all said and done, we will get it finished though. Bring on the rain ;)
Our names are Ashley & Jeremy and we are building a cabin alone in the Canadian wilderness.
