When I was 8 years old, I heard this song for the first time and remember thinking it was the most beautiful song I had ever heard. I was at the airport coming home from a trip with my Mom, and she turned it on to try and help me fall asleep during a layover. A few years down the road, my little sister was born and I sang this to her as her lullaby. When she was old enough to sleep in a real bed she would get scared to be alone and walk into my room almost every night to crawl in bed with me! I sang this to her to help her fall asleep. It is so special that we all get to sing it together years later. 🥹
