This video takes you through the whole construction process of the latest 1-m Lesedi telescope in Sutherland. The conversion of the original 30-inch telescope dome and the building process was all captured with a dome-mounted wide-angle camera, presented here in a time-lapse, to show the whole process, right through to "First Light".
