Can women really live without men... while men supposedly can't live without women?
Today we're reacting to yet another viral video claiming women don't need men, men need women, and that if men disappeared tomorrow, women would somehow be safer, happier, and living in a modern-day Garden of Eden.
It's a claim that sounds clever on social media. Until you stop and ask one simple question: Who keeps civilization running?
From the electrical grid and water treatment plants to bridges, roads, food production, emergency services, construction, transportation, and thousands of other jobs most people never think about, modern life doesn't simply happen by magic.
In this video, we're separating fantasy from reality and asking whether this increasingly popular narrative survives even a few minutes of critical thinking.
Some ideas sound empowering.
Some ideas sound good.
And some ideas fall apart the moment they're compared to the real world.
