July, 2015. Elinor, named after the character in the Disney movie "Brave", was found wandering alone in Humboldt County. She is just over a year old. They believe she was hit by a car. It was determined she would not survive in the wild so she now has a home at the Orange County Zoo in Irvine, CA. As you can see, she really loves the waterfall and pool therel
At this point they are keeping the other bear, Yo-Yo, separate from Elinor. So, they alternate days each bear is in this enclosure. At this point, Elinor should be out Mon-Wed-Fri.
