I was Metal detecting the beach after the July 4 firework display in Huntington Beach. I came across an iPhone buried in the sand. It belongs to a young girl that was smart enough to add her family to the emergency contacts list. After some back-and-forth I was able to meet up with her and return the phone. She was beyond grateful and I was very happy to be able to help her out. For anyone reading this I highly advise to add emergency contacts to your phone for this exact situation.
