Instead of a silly vegan explaining it, a homesteader explains precisely why she 'culls' the hens she uses for eggs. Despite people ensuring that animals don't have their lives taken for eggs, it's actually the case that they do have their lives taken. Never mind the case that we haven't discussed the male chicks and how they're discarded as soon as they're sexed, or that these animals are exploited to begin with, but this is answering the question: do eggs mean animals get killed? The answer on multiple levels is yes. Sadly, people don't want to hear it from a vegan, so maybe hearing it from the person who actually does it may make it sink in more.
