Katherine has Autism and she needs an aide to provide for her study. At first, the aide was super nice to her and Katherine really really love her. Her aide was always a nice person but only when her parents are present. When her parent was absent, Things start to go wrong, she had a hard time figuring out why she was treated badly. Until one day she can not take any of the pressure anymore. she told her boyfriend and her parents about what happened to her. Her aide problem was taken care of, but she still has her brave new world to live and new people to meet. We hope she can get through society just smoothly and hope she meets some great friends after this. :)
We chose this story because we want to encourage people to speak up if something similar has happened to them and to seek help if they're still in such a situation. We hope this video will encourage people to feel empathy and compassion for those who have gone through such experiences. And we hope that it will encourage us all to do what we can to prevent these things from happening. Even if it does happen we want to encourage people to speak up for their own safety
