This is a remake of a song i made in 2016, it's still one of my favourite songs i made to this day.
The original song was kind of inspired by the Touhou music CD's that came with the Touhou Sangetsusei manga's.
I listened to it a lot on repeat, and noticed one thing...the 2016 song was very fun to listen to, but it was also very repetitive, it had nice composition elements, and i still really like the time signature switches from 4/4 to 3/4 to 4/4, but i eventually started to notice small things i wanted to be different in the song...
So that's why i just remade it from scratch, but this time there are new parts, so that the intentional repetitiveness of the song also has more variety to it, i also wanted to do some things in the background differently, namely the bass and the background notes that "empowered" the foreground notes.
I really like this new version, it feels a bit easier to listen to while still maintaining that magical feeling of the original.
It's pretty funny, in 2016, i said "i think this song will make me feel nostalgic quite quickly", and, well, i was not wrong, i already felt a bit nostalgic for this song in 2017 actually...
I really love making songs that can give people emotions, it doesn't have to be the "intended" one, but i really feel like everyone has their own emotional associations with songs, and this one definitely has a strong nostalgia feeling for me personally.
I hope music has made you feel something special too in the past? Not just mine, it can be any song by anyone.
I think it's important to feel strongly about music and what you feel when you listen to it, in a way, it is like a language that is stronger than words.

This song was a commission!
Its supposed to be a little ominous but heroic, the commissioner wanted me to use piano, violins, and percussion primarily.
I think it turned out pretty well, i did some experimenting with new time signature tricks and chord progressions, and i made a lot of use of some of the new instruments i got from Absolute 3.
You might notice this song doesnt sound very Touhou-ish, im trying to be a little more versatile lately.
I want to express my thanks to the people who supported me financially through commissions and my Patreon, i think this song wouldnt have had the same feeling if it werent for some of the new instruments i was able to afford thanks to their help.

I went for a kind of MoF-UFO-ish vibe with this song.
Do you remember the guitars from UFO Romance in the Night Sky? I actually used those here, and im really surprised that they sound so close to the We Are Number One guitars.
I made some slight alterations to the original chords to make it fit more with traditional Touhou-esque style imitations, and i also added a few additional new parts.
I think this turned out quite well, im going to continue working hard on the other commissions.")
