Welcome back to another episode of Wes and Drew's Movie Reviews! Today, we are reviewing Shazam! And by we, I mean, me... Wes, alone, reviews Shazam! because Drew does not exist. He's not real. Like always, this review is SPOILER-FREE!
Shazam! is the latest entry into the DC Cinematic Universe directed by David F. Sandberg. It follows 14-year-old Billy Batson's, who transforms into the adult superhero Shazam. Still a kid at heart, Shazam revels in the new version of himself by doing what any other teen would do -- have fun while testing out his newfound powers. But he'll need to master them quickly before the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana can get his hands on Shazam's magical abilities.
The film stars Zachary Levi as Shazam, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Glazer, Mark Strong, and Djimon Housou. Directed by David F. Sandberg, aka ponysmasher!
