One billion children around the globe live in poverty, as a result, 22,000 die each and every day. Today, how one former grad student is making a difference. It’s one conversation taking place in Asia… now.
He is a hero.
He’s also gay and Muslim.
Inspired to help those less fortunate in Bangladesh, Shawn Ahmed left Notre Dame to change lives. His journey is nothing short of impressive, since he didn’t go the traditional route by going to work for an NGO - he simply just went.
