Operation Full Goatee was doomed from the start. Had the regiments simply fortified their positions at Mustache Mountain and The Chin Peninsula, they could have won the war with the classic "Van Dyke" maneuver. Alas, they were crushed by the enemy's superior Buzzer technology.
