In the summer of 2023, a tornado of unprecedented violence swept through La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. In just a few minutes, the storm destroyed everything in its path: buildings, forests, parks and entire roofs. But beyond the material damage, what happened to the victims? We tracked down the seriously injured and the relatives of a victim killed by a falling crane. Far from being cured, they continue to live with the after-effects of the trauma, and remind us that we are all at the mercy of the next climate-related catastrophe.
