Shashwati Mandal was a featured artiste at the recently concluded BIC Hubba in Bangalore. The festival, now in its fourth year was co-presented by Bangalore International Centre and First Edition Arts.
In this video Shashwati performs a light classical piece entitled "Lai Na Gaye Bemanu" a song about Nature and a woman's pain and longing for a distant lover.
Shashwati was accompanied by Udayraj Karpur on tabla and Dr. Mausam on harmonium. Tanpura support was provided by Jagannath Rao and BN Shivprasad.
