There was originally a lot of talk about these two scopes even before the Radian Raptor (just Raptor now) version came out. The Sharpstar 61mm doublet had been out for, I think, two years before the Raptor. Perhaps I can clear up some misconceptions about the two in this video. This time I actually show some images from each and perhaps this will help you identify if you have a defective copy.

In this link you can download my STL for the lens shade extension for the either the Raptor or the Sharpstar. I would recommend using black filament to print this. Feel free to print this. Consider it my company, Desh Industries, contribution to the hobby.
