Last week I posted a video of a Sharp CD player, the DX-670.
I went through my collection and discovered that I happen to have its predecessor, the DX-R750.
This also is a CD player that was very troublesome back in the day, these worked fine until a certain point when the motors or the lasers had problems. At the time they were very low priced compared to other units, this is really when CD players were starting to peak and infiltrate the stereo community.
At the time this was probably cost about $150, whereas other CD players were in the mid $200’s.
I don’t remember when I picked this one up, but probably at a thrift store around five years ago.
So I have both of them shown in the video here, but the 750 is playing. Unfortunately, I don’t have the remote for it.
