In this video, I walk you through my music production and mixing process for one of my latest tracks. From exporting stems out of hardware to mixing and shaping individual sounds inside @UniversalAudio Luna DAW, I break down the exact decisions, plugins, and mental steps I take to take a song from roughly 90% structured to a polished, finished product.
We’ll look at:
* Using @Apple iTunes Match & multiple speaker setups to test mix translation.
* Taming heavy sub/rumble kicks using AI compression tools from @safaripedals .
* Adding movement and character using stereo processors, granular delay, and bit-depth LFOs using @ArturiaOfficial and @ikmultimedia and @CaelumAudio plugins.
MY #1 TIP: Knowing when to *cut* sounds to give important elements room to breathe.
