We made over our boys shared room in 6 weeks for the One Room Challenge with a nordic industrial inspired design and are so excited to share this kids room tour with you! This shared boys bedroom makeover is full of DIY touches, functional storage, and simple decor.

This boys bedroom makeover was a total labour of love. We spent several evenings and weekends working in here to give their room a total refresh. From new flooring to removing a valance to painting their bunk beds and crib to building a desk and changing out all the lighting... it was a huge job but we are so in love with the space now.
We moved into our house last summer and started on a main floor remodel (see the before tour here: youtube.com/watch?v=ytwgx9BsWS0) which meant new floors and doors throughout the house. Since we were busy working on that, we didn't ever fully set up or decorate the boys room. We made over our daughters room in the fall for the One Room Challenge (see that video here: youtube.com/watch?v=KooqJC7ju8c) and the day we revealed that space to her, my oldest sat down and drew out plans for his bedroom makeover. Since then, the boys have been patiently waiting their turn. I'm so happy we were finally able to do this for them!
