For the first time in his NASCAR career, Shane van Gisbergen did not advance to the post season. SVG missed the Chase by 17 points after Ryan Preece won at Daytona and SVG finished 28th. SVG won his first ever oval stage in stage 1 but it wasn’t enough. Ten more races this season!
