Hi Everyone,
This isn't my typical Coffee Corner Series discussion. I just felt that we need to talk about the things stemming from Shane Dawson's twitter rant claiming that the beauty community is toxic. In this video we'll discuss:
- Modes of Persuasion and how they've been used in the beauty community. This concept was fully formed by anthropology-enthusiast, Liam McEvoy. You can watch his video here: youtu.be/-t8fkXFs7m8
- Lack of accountability
- Talking about the majority when only referencing the minority
- Emotional bank accounts and relationships
This video is just my personal opinion based on information found publicly on the internet.
