Close enough! Welcome back, Dante Alighieri.

Today I present to you the world's most normal character birthday edit :) I don't know what possessed me, but I will literally never top this. A full minute of fx editing? lmaoooo never again !! Also this monster is 527 layers in total, thank god I decided to edit in five separate project files or my computer would have blown up.

Honestly this edit wasn't even supposed to happen, there were so many other things I had to get done and I'm literally writing this on the 10th because I'm not even home on his birthday or the days leading up to it so I had to finish it early as well... But instead of doing the sensible thing and not cutting a one minute audio, I spent seven nights in a row working on this beast instead. Even so, I still had a lot of fun despite it all? I really do love editing japanese songs, using kanji as background fillers is an actual lifesaver for an editing style like mine I feel. This whole project is really balancing on that fine line between simple and boring, but here is to praying that the little things I did with the texture can fool everyone ♥ If I had to come up with just one more background for this edit, I genuinely would have gone insane ngl

I could use this opportunity to lovemail my pretty princess (read: man the same age as my actual dad), but I've never been any good at that so why not let the angst... I mean the edit speak for itself. God I love this song so much, it's SO catchy. I listen to it almost every day atp

Also the day where I will start reading the actual Divine Comedy draws ever closer, this cell yaoi shit gets serious. He ain't beating the Dante allegations anytime soon with him being born on his death day and everything... I would say good for him, but it's really not :) As soon as I undoom him from the narrative the wedding is back on!
