Old Blues Chapter and Verse | Shaketube 2019 Announcement! @OldBluesChapterandVerse | Uploaded August 2019 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
#Shaketube2019
The schedule for this year's Shaketube celebration on my channel is thus:
September 7th: Twelfth Night
September 14th: Hamlet (the Second Quarto version, specifically)
September 21: The Winter's Tale
September 28th: The Two Gentlemen of Verona
I chose Twelfth Night, Hamlet and The Winter's Tale in part because of how each of them compliments my yearlong mortality project, You Carry a Coffin Today. Cross-pollination is a good thing. Here is a link to its announcement video: youtube.com/watch?v=zpDj0MdLkZI
Jay Shay's wonderful warm-up video for this year's Shaketube: youtube.com/watch?v=OjCnWSQDJdQ
My estimable co-hosts:
Lukas from Totally Pretentious: youtube.com/channel/UCUboZP1VriVO2aYVBexY5rw
Steve Donoghue: youtube.com/user/saintdonoghue
Please join us -- especially if Shakespeare has always frightened or intimidated you. His work is every bit as much for you as for stuffy academics, and it's filled with so much more life and light than droning academics often acknowledge.
