I've rewatched some episodes of Free! this week and I got really inspired to edit something with it again. I just love this show so much, it holds a really dear spot in my heart, since when the first season aired I was going through a really though time and this boys really helped me out back then. Since then, it's the only sport anime which I truly love.

Okay, so, this edit actually has a little story behind it which I've put effort into thinking and selecting the scenes. The song choice was inspired by a Warrior Cats animatic I watched a month ago about Ashfur and for some reason, the lyrics and even the animation itself made me think a lot of Ikuya and his desire to be with Haru, but then, Rin joins the fight.

Kinda of an AU which Rin actually never left to Australia and he got really close to Haru, but when Haru met Ikuya again after six/seven years, he can't stop thinking about him (which are the little flashbacks at 0:13 and 0:17) and even though Rin is ''a man of many tricks and tools'' he can't seem to shake Haru off of his will to be with Ikuya.
Ikuya whatsoever is still hurt after their highschool bickering and even though he wants to be close to Haru again he doesn't want to hurt himself anymore as he think Haru is better off with Rin. But at the same time, he's jealous.
Another thing I tried to show (even if little) is that Ikuya is always alone and in the dark unlike Rin and Haru which are always in open areas, running around and traveling.
